Kevin Hutchinson

Founding Member

Kevin is one of the founding partners of AAACC Pty Ltd T/as Abbott Adams. Kevin has extensive insolvency expertise and experience; Kevin is well placed to oversee the divisional activities of the firm. Kevin also specialises in aiding clients that required options other than formal insolvency appointments. So please contact him to discuss how he can assist you. Prior to establishing AAACC Pty Ltd, Kevin was a partner in two other pre-insolvency firms in 2002, for nearly 10 years in insolvency.

Kevin has been involved in Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround since 1999 and has been a associated with many Bankruptcy Trustees and often liaises with the Australian Financial Security Authority (“AFSA”) in respect to issues relating to the administration of personal insolvency and administrations by private trustees.

Kevin also specialises in providing strategies, solutions and structures other than formal insolvency appointments. As part of this process Kevin acts for numerous clients each year to assist them to achieve better outcomes and sustainability moving forward.

Chris Freeman

Manager – Promotions

Chris is the manager of Abbott Adams Promotions. He is an associate accountant and has a broad experience in providing assistance to distressed businesses and administering all types of insolvency appointments. Chris has extensive experience as a mentor to business owners and is well experienced collating the required information to assess successfully our client’s needs. Chris’ experience includes providing general pre-insolvency recommendation and assistance to company directors, insolvent individuals, accountants and solicitors and administering both corporate and personal insolvency matters.

Chris has been a member of the Abbott Adams team since 2018. Prior to that he was a Senior Manager at the firm in Sydney.

Ross Shinton

Manager Accounting

Ross is one of our managers dealing directly with clients and supervision of staff members. Ross has extensive experience in providing assistance in both corporate and personal insolvency matters. Ross possess accounting knowledge across a diverse range of industries. Ross has more than 20 years’ experience as a forensic accountant assisting insolvency practitioners, including experience obtained working with legal practitioners on matters in court to prove solvency.

Ross has particular experience with bankruptcy related matters including Section 73 proposals, Personal Insolvency Agreements, real estate sales and legal claims.

Ross is also the manager responsible for reporting on ROCAP financials, for the Members’ Voluntary Liquidations conducted by us and also specialises in reporting when court appointments occur, and clients need assistance. He has performed many Members’ Voluntary Liquidations ranging from small private companies to large corporations.

Jane Hoxha

Senior Accountant

Jane is the Senior Manager responsible for overseeing all accounting activities on a national basis.

Jane’s accounting and business experience, means she can provide comprehensive advice and assistance to businesses and individuals, experiencing financial difficulty. Jane has worked in insolvency since 2009, prior to which Jane gained valuable accounting experience in public practice and has managed staff in the eastern states, by way of video conferencing and face to face contact when required. This ensures Jane can provide comprehensive advice and assistance to staff assisting clients experiencing financial difficulty.

Vesna Willsher

Manager of Gold Coast Office

Vesna is the Manager of the Gold Coast office. Vesna is the senior Accounts manager and has extensive personal and corporate insolvency experience which Vesna has obtained while working previously with the founders and since joining Abbott Adams. Vesna has full control of the Turnaround division and of national branches providing services to clients. Vesna during her employment with Abbott Adams, has been responsible for managing (among other matters) significant appointments within the trucking, manufacturing, building and construction and hospitality industries.

Judith Butterworth

Supervisor, Brisbane

Judith is an Accounts manager responsible for matters that are to be heard in the Brisbane courts and has been assisting clients with insolvency issues since 2011. During that time Judith has developed a strong understanding of corporate and personal insolvency. Through working in varied locations from regional New South Wales, Sydney and Brisbane Judith has worked with businesses across a wide range of industry sectors including registered training organisations, construction, retail and transport. Judith has also worked engagements referred by legal practitioners requiring briefs and compilation of evidence including criminal matters.
